Bruce Willis is Starring in Russell Mulcahy’s Grimm?

So wait, Bruce Willis is starring in a new movie from the guy who directed Resident Evil: Extinction – Russell Mulcahy? Say it ain’t so! Our friends at ShockTillYouDrop have debuted the first teaser poster from a project called Grimm, a horror film set in a small Massachusetts town. This is the first we’ve ever heard about this, and I’m quite shocked to see that they’ve already lined up Bruce Willis, but that’s what the poster says. The story follows a cop who attempts to uncover the truth behind a series of kidnappings and the strange occurrences surrounding them in the town. Newcomer Gene Quintano wrote the script. The film starts when teenager Katie O’Sullivan goes over to babysit. She encounters “ghostly” twins Henry and Grace and a terrifying apparition that drags her off towards a sinister tower. “She is never seen again.” And that’s when Willis moves into town. I hate to say it, but this sounds like nothing more than the standard horror movie about mysterious ghosts and towns folk who don’t care about what’s going on. And adding Bruce Willis to the cast isn’t going to make a difference. Nor will director Russell Mulcahy, unless there are some undead zombies and a girl in a red dress to kill them. We’ll let you know how this develops. [Source]

Bruce Willis is Expendable?

Sylvester Stallone has managed to put together quite a cast of action heroes for The Expendables. The list already includes himself, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, and Danny Trejo. They’ve also hinted at a possible “cameo” for Arnold Schwarzenegger depending on his schedule as California governor.Even with all those names, apparently there’s still one more major casting announcement left. A role by the name of “Church,” or the the man who hires the expendable team of mercenaries.Sheryl Main, the official PR person for the film, has been blogging and tweeting away on set. One of her “tweets” this week said, “Looks like we have a Church and man is it great casting. Should be able to announce it very soon…” while another said, “waiting 4 the i’s 2 be dotted and the t’s to be crossed on the Church deal but the rumor is Sly Arnold & Church in a scene togethr.”

First Look at Bruce Willis’ ‘Surrogates’ Through a Featurette

Walt Disney Pictures have debuted the extended preview of ‘Surrogates’ with director Jonathan Mostow and lead actor Bruce Willis’ commentary. An extended preview to “Surrogates” has been provided by the film’s newly-released featurette. With a run time for about a minute and a half, the first footage from the movie adaptation of Robert Venditti-written comic books peels off what the movie is all about, presenting snippets from the film as well as commentary from both director Jonathan Mostow and star Bruce Willis. “Surrogates” takes place in the near future where humans live in the comfort and safety of their own homes and only interact through robotic bodies that serve as surrogates. But, when the murder of a college student his surrogate leads to other murders, an FBI agent goes to investigate. As the investigation falls deeper, he is forced to venture out without using his surrogate and unravel a conspiracy behind the crimes. Coming from the man who directed “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines”, this sci-fi thriller is starred by Bruce Willis in addition to Radha Mitchell, Rosamund Pike and Ving Rhames. It will be coming out in U.S. theaters on September 25. [Source]
