Bruce Willis Could Voice The Thing In A CGI Fantastic Four

In addition to lining up potential directors Joe Carnahan, David Yates and James McTeigue, Fox is said be setting course for a full-on total CGI vision of the Fantastic Four for their franchise reboot, and Bruce Willis is their pick to voice Ben Grimm. They’ll have to move quickly to get him signed and put the movie into production, though, because it’s reportedly tagged for a 2012 release.

The new details and other casting choices leaked through sources speaking to Comic Book Movie. If they’re all legit, Stephen Moyer is up for the role of Doctor Doom, with Alice Eve pegged for Sue Storm, Kevin Pennington eyed for Johnny Storm and Adrien Brody and Jonathan Rhys Meyers in contention for Reed Richards.

Filming could start as soon as May 2011 if things work out. If they do, we really will have come full circle from a Marvel book inspiring a CGI Pixar movie that spun off a Boom! Studios comic book series and preceded a 100-percent CGI feature film based on the original property. [Source]

Stallone Wants Bruce Willis for Expendables 2 Villain

The pinnacle of 80s action nostalgia in The Expendables comes when Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger meet with Bruce Willis in a church about a high-risk job. The dialogue in this scene is spot-on with the only downside being it was over before it had a chance to really begin.

With The Expendables winning its first two weekends at the box office and profits steadily rolling in, Sly is looking forward to the sequel and who its main villain could be. We all want Bruce Willis to slide into the spot as it not only would be a logical choice given the narrative, but John McClane taking on one of the most badass collection of hired guns gets the testosterone flowing just thinking about it.

As part of Sly’s Twitter coming out party these past few days he dropped a little remark about having dinner with Willis. “Had dinner with Bruce Willis last night,” he wrote. “I want him in EXPENDABLES II as a super villain. What do you think?” Read the rest of this entry »

The Sunday Interview: Bruce Willis

Bruce Willis isn’t deviating too far from his tough guy roles in his next film Cop Out, where he plays cranky veteran policeman Jimmy Monroe. The Golden Globe award-winner tells SHEREEN LOW how great it felt to star in a comedy again and why he’s really a softie at heart

HE may play the tough guy on the big screen, but in real life, Bruce Willis is anything but.

In fact, the German-born actor, who turned 55 in March, is a softie at heart, admitting to being teary-eyed whenever he sees his children perform.

“It’s fantastic. It makes me cry when I see them perform. You know, the older I get, the more sentimental I am. I have great, great kids,” he reveals.

Willis has three daughters with ex-wife Demi Moore, who is now married to Ashton Kutcher – Rumer, 21, who’s also an actress; 19-year-old Scout and 16-year-old Tallulah.

He continues: “Rumer sings once in a while. Rumer and Scout both sang Christmas songs at my nightclub in Sun Valley this holiday and I was sighing. I get a little emotional.” Read the rest of this entry »

First look: Bruce Willis fragrance commercial

With the launch date of the Hollywood actor’s first fragrance approaching (it hits stores in July), a making-of from the commercial can now be watched on the Internet.

The clip shows Willis filming in a bar in New Orleans, ordering drinks at the counter and flirting with the camera, all supposed to go with the manly identity of the scent. As is often the case with celebrity fragrances, not much is known about the actual ingredients of Bruce Willis Eau de Parfum, even though Women’s Wear Daily described it as “extremely masculine.”

Willis’s move came as a surprise to many, and after his ex-wife, Demi Moore, just released her first fragrance called Wanted with Helena Rubinstein, the development of his perfume is closely followed. Read the rest of this entry »

Bruce Willis to launch his own perfume

Action star Bruce Willis is all set to release his own signature fragrance, which will be available in stores from July.

The Die Hard actor has signed a deal with German company LR Health + Beauty Systems to create a men’s scent, which is due out in July, WWD.com reported.

“The Bruce Willis scent will be extremely masculine and – starting from ingredients through to design – embodies every individual feature of the Hollywood star: strong, self-confident, consistent,” said Tilo Ploger, Chief operating officer of the firm.

With the release of this perfume, the 55-year-old actor will join the long list of celebrities having their own perfume.

Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss and Sarah Jessica Parker all have a signature fragrance as do Britney Spears and Beyonce Knowles. [Source]

Bruce Willis says he prefers comedy

Hollywood film star Bruce Willis says he prefers making comedies to working on dramas or even his trademark action flicks.

“If I had a choice, I would do comedy all the time,” the 54-year-old actor told reporters in New York recently while promoting his big-screen police comedy “Cop Out.”

“Comedy is just the most challenging thing,” Willis added. “To make someone laugh is A. the most challenging thing and B. the most rewarding thing in entertainment.”

Willis’ co-stars Tracy Morgan and Seann William Scott, as well as his director Kevin Smith, admitted they felt compelled to try to make Willis crack up whenever they could on the set of their film.

Asked if they were successful, Willis recalled: “There are scenes where I’m just trying not to laugh. There were a lot of times that we broke and it wasn’t just me. A lot of times it was the whole crew who was watching on the monitors.”

“Cop Out” opened at No. 2 at the U.S. box office last weekend.  [Source]
